– From September, Dutch F-35 aircraft will guard NATO airspace in Poland together with Norway. In this way, we keep Russia at a distance and protect supply lines to Ukraine, – emphasized Ruben Brekelmans.
Earlier, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense also reported the deployment of combat aircraft, the latest F-35 fighters, to protect a key logistics center for providing military aid to Ukraine. In particular, we are talking about the Rzeszow airport.

Military aid to Ukraine from the Netherlands
On June 24, the Dutch Ministry of Defense announced a new military aid package for Ukraine totaling about €175 million. Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive 100 radars that detect drones and transmit their coordinates to air defense systems. The Ukrainian Defense Forces will also receive 20 partially unmanned modular Ermine CASEVAC vehicles, which are designed for the rapid evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield.
The Netherlands also signed contracts with Ukraine for the production of 600 thousand drones worth €500 million.
On May 26, it was reported that the last F-16 fighters that the Netherlands promised to Ukraine had left the country.
