Ukraine is actively preparing for the heating season. So, Nikolaev is 100% ready for winter. However, there are problems with water.
This was announced by the mayor Alexander Senkevich. According to him, heating in Nikolaev will be launched as planned.

According to the mayor, heating systems are being filled and undergoing final hydraulic tests. All 94 boiler houses are ready for operation. The only problematic issue is the closure of all windows.
Sienkiewicz stressed that the city has problems with the supply of water after the invaders broke the pipeline from the Dnieper River. So far, we have to collect water in the Southern Bug. However, the water is salty.
It is this salty water that runs through the pipes and destroys them. We have about 50% of network water losses. We sell 50%, and 50% flows out,” said Sienkiewicz.
