Since February 24, Russia has barbarously reduced the beautiful and successful Mariupol to ruins and also killed its civilians. An 8-year-old from Mariupol spoke about his childish emotions in his diary.

Several pages of a children's manuscript were published by Mariupol artist and actor Yevgeny Sosnovsky. He noted that the boy survived a real hell.

A child talks about the injuries and deaths of loved ones

The young Mariupol resident notes that he is 8 years old, his sister is 15, and his mother is 38, and she needs dressings. His story about everyday things such as sleeping, reading, is interrupted by terrible messages.

My grandfather also died. I have a wound on my back, torn skin. My sister has a head injury. Mom has “meat on her hand” torn out and a wound on her leg, – says the boy.

Experiencing the worst thing in his life, he is looking for something good and bright. So, he writes about his new girlfriend Vika, who has good parents. The child is happy that his birthday is coming soon and that the grandmother returned when she went to fetch water.

The boy writes that his city was killed

Most of the pain is on the last page. Scary and completely childish images are drawn there with a ballpoint pen: people lying on the floor, as well as destroyed houses. All that the people of Mariupol have lost since Thursday, February 24.

My 2 dogs died, my grandmother Galya and my beloved city Mariupol. – a terrible sentence is displayed by a child's hand.
