Missile attack on the Nikolaev region
On the night of July 9, Russian troops attacked the Nikolaev region with a ballistic missile.
According to information from the Nikolaev OVA, as a result of enemy shelling in the Bashtansky district, the working equipment of an agricultural enterprise and two private cars were damaged.
There are people injured due to Russian shelling. Employees of the enterprise received shrapnel wounds — These are men aged 27 and 38 years. They were hospitalized in a moderate condition.
Day of mourning in Kyiv and Krivoy Rog
Today in Kyiv and Krivoy Rog — day of mourning. In Krivoy Rog, the removal of the rubble has already been completed. There, due to a missile attack, 10 people were killed and 47 were injured.
In Kyiv, search, rescue and restoration work has been completed on the territory of Okhmatdyt after the missile attack on July 8. The rubble is still being cleared at other locations.
Due to the Russian shelling of Kyiv, a total of 33 people were killed, including four children. 120 people were injured, including 10 children. 11 people were also rescued.
Poisoning of volunteers with water near Okhmatdyt
The National Police is checking information about possible poisoning of the water that was brought to the Okhmatdet children's hospital.
Recently, one of the volunteers stated that unknown persons brought bottles of water to Okhmatdyt. All people who had contact with her received chemical poisoning.
According to her, when the volunteers were going home, they left bottles of water for the police. One of them washed his face with liquid, and the other — drank. Medics provided assistance to the second law enforcement officer.
The situation in the power system
In Ukraine, the situation in the energy system may improve after July 20, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced.
According to him, after the completion of repair work at some generation facilities, the power in the power system will increase. Then power outages in Ukraine will decrease significantly.
Denis Shmyhal noted that the government has developed and partially launched a set of measures to encourage Ukrainians and businesses towards energy sustainability. In particular, it is proposed to provide preferential loans.
Four-year aid agreement with the EU
Ukraine and the European Union have signed an agreement to receive €5.27 billion in grant assistance over the next four years under the Ukraine Facility program.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the decision to attract grant money from the European Union was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers last week.
Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko noted that these funds will help stabilize the macroeconomic and financial situation in Ukraine. In her opinion, these are necessary resources to support key sectors of the economy.
