Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukrainians will only be able to fight as long as the United States supports them with weapons.
On the air of the “FEIGIN LIVE” stream, Alexei Arestovich, adviser to the head of the OPU, commented on Orban's words, Channel 24 reports. He noted that this is a purely Kremlin narrative.
Aleksey Arestovich called what they are: “Ukraine is not independent”, “Ukraine as a puppet”, “Ukraine as a bargaining chip in the US geopolitical games”, “Ukraine as a shock the shield of the Americans”.
One wonders what Hungary under Orban is still doing in NATO and the EU. NATO is right, because the United States dominates there, – the adviser to the head of the OPU emphasized.
“The only thing that saves is that about 50% of Hungarians think completely differently, Euro-Atlantic and very complementary to Ukraine,” Arestovich said .
According to him, we can safely say that these Moscow narratives are not of Hungary, but of its political force and leader. It is high time for the EU and NATO to give an assessment.
In addition, Oleksii Arestovich recalled that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry had already responded to these statements. They said if he wants peace so much, he should use his influence with Putin to bring peace.
