Three sisters from Mariupol managed to reunite/Irina Vereshchuk's Telegrams

Three sisters from Mariupol finally managed to reunite. Unfortunately, their mother will no longer be with the girls, as she died under shelling by the occupiers.

The Minister for Reintegration of the Occupied Territories, Irina Vereshchuk, told the touching story of the family.

Invaders killed the sisters' mother

Older sister Valya was evacuated from Mariupol to Dnipro in the first days of the war. The middle Sophia and the younger Nastya stayed with their mother in the city, which subsequently fell into the blockade of the invaders. Unfortunately, the girls' mother came under fire and died.

Valya called the hotline, and since then she has not stopped making efforts to get her sisters out of Mariupol and then out of Donetsk. According to Vereshchuk, there was a lot of work to do next.

Girls' reunion

Now all three girls are safe in Kyiv. Vereshchuk thanked her elder sister Valya for her courage and perseverance. She pulled out the sisters, and the state simply helped. Valya is only 19 years old, but she already patronizes younger girls.

When such life stories unfold in front of you, you understand the true values. You can see them in the eyes of these girls,” the minister said.
