China's motives

China realizes that Russia has lost and now has an important task : Do not cut ties with the US due to the importance of US technology and investment. That is why arms supplies from China to Russia will not be direct.

However, it is not profitable for them now to completely alienate Moscow, because that Moscow is “on the hook.” Putin takes steps every day that bring Russia under the influence and power of Beijing, the Russian publicist emphasized.

He added that the Russian dictator is making pre-sale preparations for Russia, and China will willingly accept it. The aggressor country itself is heading towards its defeat; Beijing does not need to do anything. According to Piontkovsky, everything the Russian elite does is repeat the phrase “there are 1.5 billion people with great China.” After all, this is the only thing left for them to be proud of.
