More than 600 people were evacuated from the village of Ruska Lozova, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of on April 29. It is known that during the two months of the war they were in the occupied territory without energy resources and medical care.

This afternoon, a convoy with residents of Ruska Lozova, accompanied by the Ukrainian military, entered Kharkiv. Ukrainians will be placed in safe places.

What happened to the residents of Ruska Lozova during the occupation

The evacuated residents say that since February 24 they have been left without light and humanitarian aid, hid in the cellars. The occupiers checked documents, took away cars and hunting weapons from people.

They told us that you have one road – to Russia, to Belgorod. If you try to drive to Kharkiv, we will open fire,” said Mikhail, who spent 2 months in the occupation of Russian troops.

Today's evacuation was announced due to possible Russian strikes and subsequent provocations. As Konstantin Nemichev, a representative of the Kraken unit, explained, the invaders are intensifying their shelling of the lost territories.

During the operation, Ukrainian soldiers evacuated to a safe place more than 600 civilians of the village, who were held hostage by the Russian occupiers, wrote the GUR.

According to their information, more than 600 people were evacuated from Russkaya Lozova.

Russian Lozovaya in the Kharkiv region: what is known

  • The village of Russkaya Lozovaya is one of the largest in the suburbs of Kharkov. This is a strategically important settlement located on the Kharkiv-Belgorod highway.
  • Having destroyed the manpower and equipment of the invaders, the military intelligence unit of Ukraine took control of the settlement.
  • The scouts secured Kharkiv residents from further shelling of enemy artillery from the northern side of the city, because it was from Ruska Lozova that the occupiers precisely destroyed infrastructure facilities and civilian houses in Kharkiv.
