At the Peace Summit in Switzerland, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a package of measures to support Ukraine worth 52.4 million Canadian dollars (more than $38 million).

Of the announced amount 15 million Canadian dollars ($10.9 million) is provided to support Ukrainian children illegally deported to the Russian Federation, improving access to justice victims of war crimes, as well as to support male survivors of sexual violence, in particular prisoners of war.

20 million Canadian dollars ($14.5 million) — to support Ukraine's urgent efforts to restore damaged energy infrastructure.
15.4 million Canadian dollars ($11.2 million) — for mine clearance, technical assistance and training needed for economic reform and European integration, as well as technical assistance from Canadian government experts in the fields of justice and energy.
Another 2 million Canadian dollars ($1.5 million) — to support the safe and reliable operation of nuclear facilities in Ukraine through the IAEA.
Canada's budget includes C$1.6 billion ($1.2 billion) over the next five years for lethal and non-lethal military assistance to Ukraine.
