Ukraine has completed the exhumation of bodies at the mass grave of our citizens in Izyum, Kharkiv region. In total, more than 200 workers were involved in the work at the scene of the tragedy.

About this Channel 24said the head of the investigative department of Kharkiv region Sergey Bolvinov. According to him, the bodies of 447 dead were seized from the burial places.

The results of the exhumation of bodies

Thus, among the victims of the troops of the aggressor country, bodies of 215 were found women, 194 men, 22 soldiers and 5 children. The bodies of another 11 people have not been identified, as they were skeletonized and require more time for examination.

Unfortunately, during the preliminary examination of the bodies, we recorded signs of torture. More than 30 bodies that we seized have the following traces, Bolvinov noted.

According to him, these are mainly stab wounds, in particular, such injuries of the genital organs were found on two bodies. In addition, tortured Ukrainians were found with their hands tied, and ropes were fixed around their necks. There are also a lot of bodies with bullet wounds, including in the back of the head.

“We carried out all these examinations together with forensic experts. Subsequently, the seized bodies were sent to the Kharkiv Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examinations,” the head of the investigative department said.

Subsequently, they promise to provide additional information about the causes of death of the victims Russian invader troops.

EU reaction to the tragedy under Raisins

Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, in a comment on Channel 24, said that it is necessary to create an international tribunal that would investigate these crimes against the Ukrainian people.

Given what we saw today in city ​​of Izyum that we witnessed a mass grave, then, of course, this indicates the commission of very terrible war crimes. – said the head of the EU delegation.

“And, of course, it is necessary to bring to justice all those responsible, as well as the creation of an international tribunal to properly investigate all these cases,” he concluded.

After EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matt and Maasikas tweeted that Ukraine will receive all the help to win the war and bring Russian war criminals to justice.
