At least three people were injured as a result of the traffic accident; they were transferred to medical workers.
The State Emergency Service does not specify information about the number of cars involved in an accident. However, according to the Volinski Novyny news agency, which refers to eyewitnesses, we are talking about about 12 cars.
It is noted that the cars collided on a slippery road.
Recall that earlier weather forecasters warned about worsening bad weather on Sunday. It was noted that in the western regions, except for Transcarpathia, ice, wet snow accumulation, blizzards, and wind gusts of up to 15-20 m/s are expected. Similar information was received about the situation on the roads, where, except for the southern regions, icy conditions and danger level I (yellow) are expected.
