Defense cluster Brave1 has developed anti-drone rounds that significantly increase the military's chances of hitting a moving target.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
Anti-drone cartridges created in Ukraine
Fedorov noted that these anti-drone cartridges look like “regular cartridges that can be loaded into an assault rifle.”

However, there is a special warhead inside that greatly increases the chances of hitting FPV drones or Mavics before they can attack.
According to the minister, the new development from Brave1 has already been codified according to NATO standards and will protect Ukrainian military personnel.
“Our common goal is for every infantryman to have a magazine of such cartridges and be able to load them into his machine gun in the event of an air threat,” added Fedorov.
We previously reported that Ukraine is working on developing and scaling its own air and missile defense systems.
Ukroboronprom and the Norwegian company KDA have already agreed on the integration of domestic air defense systems into the NASAMS infrastructure. Ukrainian developments will work together with Norwegian command and control modules.
