On May 16, Denmark announced a new, already 16th, package of military assistance for Ukraine. Its amount is 750 million euros.

Of the 5.6 billion Danish kroner, 2.4 billion, or 349 million euros, will be used to strengthen Ukrainian air defense. The assistance also includes an amount for the maintenance of equipment already provided.

As part of the package, the government also provides additional funds that will be invested directly in the Ukrainian defense industry. Ukraine has skills, but lacks funding, said Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

Transfer of F-16 to Ukraine
