Occupiers are usually found on VKontakte/Photo from open sources

Investigators identify occupiers on social media in order to tell everyone about their crimes and bring them to justice. It is usually not difficult to find pages of Russians on the net, in particular, their mothers like to show off common photos.

Oleksandra Gubitskaya, an investigative journalist at the Our Money. Lvov website, told Channel 24 about this. journalists decided to find the profiles of these people in social networks so that they could be identified.

“Victims can look at the photos of these people and find out. Then it is important to attract these people accountable,” she assured.

Is it easy to find invaders in social networks

According to her, unlike the Kadyrovites, Russian soldiers are not so ” tiktokers”, so it's more difficult, but still these people are easy to find by date of birth or photo.

The investigator says that the most popular social networks for Russians are VKontakte and Instagram. They now rarely publish information that they were in Ukraine without updating their profiles.

We spent about 2 weeks with volunteers looking for information about Russian monsters who committed atrocities in Bucha. One occupant died and his relatives made a video in which they said that he was in Ukraine. There was a photo of him from a private house in our city,” she said.

Alexandra added that infidels change their names in social networks to initials, they write without a surname. But if there is a photo of a military man, it is very easy to find it in any social network.

Infidels write about great losses

She said that their journalist is in a closed chat for meeting girls on VKontakte, where the Russian military has been added. And there they share their photos, although they hide their names.

They also share their worries that many of their brethren have died in Ukraine. They say that only half of the platoon can remain, or how one dry ration is divided among all. They even tell in detail where they were in Ukraine or that they killed people,” Gubitskaya says.

Journalists pass all information for publication to the SBU and make it public only a few days after that.

“Now the infidels have begun to hide, some have deleted their profile from social networks. They are afraid of condemnation, because Ukrainians write angry comments to them,” she said.

Mothers brag about their sons in Odnoklassniki

Gubitskaya explained that in this social network, information about the occupiers is usually published by their mothers who want to boast of their sons in military uniform . And these photos are also easy to find the Russian military.

By the way, we wrote earlier that journalists managed to identify more than 50 infidels who committed atrocities in the Kiev region, brutally killing Ukrainians. The Buryats-occupiers were the most wild. See the names and photos here.
