The Russians' plan to “capture Kyiv in 3 days” failed miserably. Now the Kremlin is trying, through pseudo-referendums, to consolidate at least some “victory” at the front and stop the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, Putin and Co.'s new plans, like all previous ones, are doomed to failure in advance.
With their own thoughts this was shared by the presenter Channel 24Alexey Pechiy. Read on to find out how the pseudo-referendums, Nazism in Russian mobilization and the weakening of Moscow's positions in the international arena will end for the Kremlin.
Russia, in agony, plans to introduce martial law in the country and completely lower the iron curtain by banning men from leaving the country immediately after the so-called “referendums” in the occupied territories of Ukraine. At the same time, the Kremlin is thinking about the mobilization of cannon fodder in all previously captured territories, for example, in Abkhazia and South Ossetia and, of course, unfortunately, in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
And that's it such men can be thrown into the hell of war, while some of those mobilized in Russia can simply be left to feed the National Guard, whose task is to protect the Putin regime inside the country. Feeble but anti-mobilization protests are taking place in Russia, which could create problems for the Putin regime. However, such steps by the Kremlin are increasingly being called an admission of weakness.
In Poland, they frankly stated that Putin was escalating because he admitted that he was going to fail. Also at the UN General Assembly, even the so-called friends of the Kremlin, China and India, seem to turn away from Russia. Representatives of both countries stated the need for negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow and did not support the terrorist rhetoric of Russia. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not stop and continue to destroy the enemy on Ukrainian soil.
Therefore, we will talk more about the situation at the front and what the escalation from Russia can lead to.

Zhelezny the curtain is getting closer – Putin is ready to do anything to save himself
In Russia, the mobilization of cannon fodder continues, but not everything is going smoothly. The day before, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki expressed the opinion that Putin's regime is weakening more and more every day, and that is why he is aggravating the conflict, and an escalation of aggression can be expected in the near future. Like, Putin is ready to throw a huge amount of cannon fodder, just to save his power from complete collapse.
Morawiecki also recalled that for a long time Putin tried not to send ethnic Russians to the front, therefore, in the first place, Asian minorities from the Russian republics were sent to the front. This, according to Morawiecki, testifies not only to the racist policy of the Kremlin, but also to the enormous pressure under which the Russian elite operates. That is, the legend that this is a distant war that will not affect ordinary Russians has collapsed before our eyes. Consequently, Putin is forced to escalate in order not to lose power.
However, from the very first days of mobilization in Russia, Putin was faced with the fact that not all “cheers-patriots” in Russia are ready to die for the dictator's ideas. Therefore, the Russians began to flee en masse from Russia. Moreover, to those countries that they fiercely hate or even have already waged war against these countries. A vivid example is Georgia, where Russians entered in tanks in 2008, and now they are trying to find refuge there.
However, it seems that such an outflow of Russians may soon stop, because the Kremlin decided shut down the country. Russian opposition publications claim that the Kremlin is seriously discussing the possibility of imposing martial law and a ban on men traveling abroad immediately after the announcement of the annexation of Ukrainian territories on September 30.
According to the 2014 scenario: Russia is already preparing the annexation of Ukrainian territories
According to sources from the Russian edition of Nestka, on September 30, Putin will announce an appeal to the federal assembly. There he will talk about the so-called successes in the annexation of the occupied territories of Ukraine. Russian media are already reporting that Putin's speech will be a copy of the one he delivered in 2014, when Russia illegally annexed Crimea. Already on September 28, the State Duma plans to submit for consideration a bill on the fake annexation of Ukrainian territories to Russia, the next day Russian deputies will adopt this bill, and on September 30, Putin will boast of pseudo-achievements. That is, the scenario is still the same as in 2014, but with one important difference.
Immediately after this “patriotic” Russian frenzy, the Kremlin plans to introduce martial law in Russia. And then there are additional stuffing of Russians about why after the pseudo-referendums of the Armed Forces of Ukraine it is better to stop and not continue the liberation of Ukrainian territories.
Obviously, Putin's calculation, when he announced the holding of pseudo-referendums and mobilization and threatened to use nuclear weapons, was that this would paralyze the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, Russia will be able to stop the offensive of the Armed Forces and consolidate the achievements at the front, so that there is time to bring up reserves. However, Putin does not stop there and tries to sow even more panic and chaos.
Russia is planning to introduce martial law: they hope to contain the Armed Forces of Ukraine
All the same so-called Russian opposition publications claim that the Kremlin will introduce martial law if Ukraine continues to attack the so-called “annexed territories” where “referendums” on joining Russia are fabricated. That is, this is another escalation that should prove to Ukraine and the world that Putin is ready to go all the way. However, let's be objective – nothing prevents the terrorists in Moscow from simply staging shelling. And, finally, Vladimir Zelensky does not give any signals at all that pseudo-referendums will change something for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Moreover, the same Russian media claim that the ban on leaving Russian conscription men could be announced even before the president's address, as the authorities assess the flow of men leaving the country as “alarming”. That is, the Kremlin's schizophrenic plans to lower the iron dome are another attempt to intimidate the world and try to stop the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Regardless of the situation at the front, Putin will still close the borders for the Russians, because he is afraid for his own skin.
For example, Russia is already turning into North Korea in all its manifestations. On the eve of Russia has already announced a ban on athletes to travel abroad. In particular, the Kremlin canceled any training camp for athletes outside of Russia. The so-called Russian Ministry of Sports said that this decision was dictated by the course towards “strengthening the national sports industry and the formation of sports and economic sovereignty.”
The so-called “referendum” is a complete fake, with which Putin is trying to correct his position. It is worth noting only one fact of the terrible farce that is taking place in the occupied territories. According to Serhiy Gaidai, the head of the Luhansk OVA, the occupiers simply invented a turnout of up to 50% in the “referendum” in the shattered cities of the Luhansk region, such as Lisichansk, Severodonetsk and Rubizhne.
However, we are well aware that initially there is no real expression of will in the occupied territories. However, for Putin this is a reason to announce an intermediate victory and justify the total mobilization in Russia. However, there are already some problems with this. There are still protests against the mobilization in Russia, although they are rather mild. But the tension is definitely growing, and in regions where national minorities live.
For example, in Yakutsk, local protests against the mobilization of men took place the day before. Although it looked rather strange – the women simply danced around the police. In Dagestan, in one of the villages, locals blocked the highway in order not to allow the mobilized men to be taken out. According to local media, 110 people were called for mobilization from the village, and the protesters took to the action to protect them. In response, the Russian police fired machine guns into the air. Although, judging by the footage from there, this did not frighten the protesters too much.
Mobilization with a touch of Nazism and violation of international conventions
In the end, the Kremlin still continues to mobilize mainly national minorities. Today, the protege of the Kremlin, Sergei Aksyonov, said that mobilization will already be completed in Crimea, because the annexed peninsula allegedly fulfilled the plans for mobilization. At the same time, according to the Russian opposition media Meduza, the Kremlin is considering the possibility of mobilizing not only Russians, but also citizens of the self-proclaimed “republics” of Abkhazia and South Ossetia for the war with Ukraine. In general, they plan to gather several thousand people. Forced mobilization is also actively taking place in the occupied territories of Ukraine. Moreover, according to the Institute for the Study of War, Russia may be preparing for the forced mobilization of Ukrainian prisoners of war in violation of the Geneva Convention. According to the Institute's analysis, the statements of the so-called Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoig about which categories of men in Russia will be exempted from partial mobilization may not correspond to the intentions or orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Consequently, ISW suggests that the responsibility for partial mobilization appears to be uneven and complex, possibly contributing to confusion, disorganization, and breach of Shoigu's exemption commitments. Accordingly, the intricate system of mobilization leads to chaos, and therefore the Russians are trying to fulfill their plans as they please. However, unfortunately, such chaos leads to the forced mobilization of both residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine and prisoners of war, which is a gross violation of all norms of international law.
And such a chaotic mobilization, not only in Russia, but also in the territories previously occupied by Russia around Russia, has the other side of the coin. The fact is that, according to British intelligence, the Kremlin will most likely replenish the National Guard with ethnic Russians, which will protect its regime and proteges in the occupied territories. That is, the usual racism and Nazism is going on.
While the Kremlin is preparing the annexation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are creating hell for the occupiers
However, no reinforcements of the enemy can stop the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, according to OK “South”, the Ukrainian military fired on the eve of the points of concentration of the National Guard in Kherson and the region. In addition, our aviation worked out 5 strikes against two enemy air defense systems in the Kherson and Kakhov regions, and against three areas where weapons and equipment were concentrated in the Berislav region. Our artillery has strengthened fire control in the area of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, where the occupiers are trying to establish crossings, and weakened the enemy army by three command posts along the front line. In addition, the Armed Forces destroyed 57 invaders and 30 pieces of enemy equipment.
In addition, according to the Institute for the Study of War, three places have been identified in the south where fighting is taking place in the Kherson region – the north of the region, the west (near Ingulets) and the northwest of Kherson. Analysts suggest that Ukrainian troops are preparing for an offensive south of Novovoznesensky, which is close to the administrative border of the Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions, and are concentrating forces to Osakovka, 25 kilometers northeast of Novovoznesensky, in order to continue advancing in the South. That is, in the Kherson region, as of the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to move forward.
Also, according to analysts at the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian troops continue their localized advances along the administrative border of Kharkiv and Lugansk regions. In particular, positional battles continue to the south along the Oskol River near Kupyansk. And analysts confirm the success of our defenders in this direction. Although they add that the swampy terrain and weather conditions make it difficult to effectively transport heavy weapons and equipment. Therefore, the speed of progress may slow down somewhat. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not slow down in the offensive around Liman. However, this information should be left for the announcement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It's hot now in the Donetsk region. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy assaults northeast of Bakhmut in the area of Soledar and Bakhmutsky, south of Bakhmut in the area of Odradovka, Kurdyumovka, Zaitsev and Mayorsk. Also, the enemy continues regular shelling throughout the Donetsk region and in the east of Zaporozhye. Moreover, in recent days, these attacks have intensified.
The situation is also tense in the north of Ukraine on the border with Belarus. The day before, the Belarusian underground reported that on September 20, 130 mercenaries of the Liga PMC arrived in Minsk with personal weapons and ammunition. They allegedly delivered 300 units of Ukrainian military uniform, which the Russians seized in the warehouses of the Kherson region. It was noted that the invaders can use these mercenaries to commit sabotage on the border between Belarus and Ukraine. However, according to the speaker of the State Border Service Andrei Demchenko, our border guards have not yet recorded any provocations on the border with Belarus, but special attention is focused on this area.
Even “friends” turned their backs: Russia's positions in the international arena have weakened
At the same time, Ukraine is also using international instruments to punish Russia for its brazen attempt to annex Ukrainian territories. Ukraine initiates the convening of an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the holding of pseudo-referendums by Russia in the occupied territories. This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko and added that Russia should be held accountable for further attempts to change the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine in violation of the UN Charter.
And here, with cautious optimism, I note that we have good starting positions in the UN. On the eve of the UN General Assembly, Russia received another slap in the face, and from those who are called “friends” in the Kremlin. China and India called for an end to the war in Ukraine through negotiations, without providing strong support for Russia at all and without even taking a neutral position.
It is very significant that the speech of Sergey Lavrov at the UN General Assembly was not welcomed and did not support the Russian position. Even China, whose leader back in February promised Putin “limitless partnership.” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, after which he called for negotiations and an end to the war.
India also refused to support Russia. So, unlike China, it has warm relations with the United States, but it also has historical ties with Russia. Therefore, her position is also important in this context, because the Kremlin relies on the eastern market. However, the Indian Foreign Minister also called for negotiations.
The only one who supported Russia's position at the UN General Assembly was the interim Prime Minister of Mali, Colonel Abdoulaye Maiga, appointed by the leaders of the coup. He thanked the Wagner PMC for their help in overthrowing the legitimate government and supported Lavrov. The only one of them all.
