The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law. The Russian occupiers do not plan to stop the offensive yet, so mobilization will continue in Ukraine.
Fedor Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense, told Channel 24 about this. Commenting on the continuation of mobilization, he said: “We haven't won the war yet, to win it, we need reserves.” /h2>
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now in the process of forming reserves, but there is no talk of so-called mass waves.
Mobilization will continue. Martial law has been extended for 3 months in order not to inform the UN every time about the introduction of such a legal regime, – Fedor Venislavsky said.
He added that the President of Ukraine now has a complete picture of the situation on the fronts and understands that within the next month we are unlikely to end the war.
“Therefore, it was decided to extend martial law and, simultaneously, mobilization, for 3 months. During these three months, reserve servicemen from the reserve will be called up. Therefore, we will not go anywhere,” Venislavsky said.
Russia has not exhausted all its resources
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the enemy is currently quite actively reactivating old Soviet equipment. Fedor Venislavsky noted that the Russians are trying very quickly to make up for the losses they suffered in Ukraine.
“Hope that Russia has already run out of resources that it can attract to the war is overly optimistic. They still have enough the number of Grad-type multiple launch rocket systems, a lot of them are being mothballed,” said a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense.
