Mobilization in Ukraine: the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained why subpoenas are handed out on the streets

Martial law has been going on in Ukraine for more than a year. Persons liable for military service between the ages of 18 and 60 are subject to mobilization. Summons can be served in public places.

The Armed Forces explained why the subpoenas are served on the streets. Major Alexander Melnichuk told about this, Channel 24 informs .

Why the summons can be served on the street

The Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that summonses are handed out on the streets because of the search for specialists who have requests. They are sent by military units to territorial recruitment and social support centers.

“According to our mobilization plans, the TCC receives a certain task to resupply some part, a certain number of people are needed. Or a certain number of specialists in certain military specialties – artillerymen, cooks,” Melnichuk noted.

That is why it is important for those liable for military service to register. According to the scheme, citizens with relevant specialties are immediately searched for in the register, which is in the TCC.

How would it be right to look for this person – from among those who are registered with the TCC. In principle, there is this list, a certain part of the people came in the first days, – the major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized.

Do they have the right to issue subpoenas at work

If the employer has received an order from the TCC, he is obliged:

  • issue an order (instruction) to notify employees, bring it to the attention of such persons under a personal signature and send a copy of the order (instruction) within three days to the relevant TCC;
  • hand over to the employees the summons to appear on a call to the TCC;
  • inform in writing with the provision of extracts from orders (instructions) to the relevant TCC about temporarily disabled, on vacation or on a business trip;
  • ensure control over the results of the notification and the arrival of a conscripted worker at the relevant shopping center.

Therefore, the employer can carry out alerts and hand over subpoenas to subordinates, but only if he has received an appropriate order from the head of the TCC.
