Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar reported that most often the department is complained that people are sent to the front after several days of exercises or without them.

However, according to Article 29 of the law “On military duty and military service”, those liable for military service and reservists must pass a training, verification and special meeting.

Moreover, the order of the Ministry of Defense obliges commanders of military units to provide “high-quality training and the completeness of their implementation of the training program”.

However, due to the war, the duration of training is from 7 to 20 days.

Anna Malyar stated that if the mobilized did not pass even a week training, then you should call the hotline of the Ministry of Defense:

  • 0-800-500-410;
  • 0-800-500-442;
  • 044-454-44-99.

In case of violations, persons liable for military service are advised to write reports

Human rights activist and lawyer Dmitry Shvets advises mobilized people to write reports if they are sent to the front without proper preparation, Hromadske reports. According to the lawyer, such complaints are most often satisfied.

“I think that conscripts know their rights better, and military units, when they understand what mistakes they made and what these mistakes cost, draw conclusions,” the human rights activist said.

Can a mobilized person be sent to fight without equipment

According to the order of the Ministry of Defense, commanders of military units are responsible for organizing clothing, financial, food and medical support for reservists and those liable for military service.

Human rights activist Shvets emphasized that the state is obliged to provide the serviceman with funds. If this does not happen, then those liable for military service are advised to file reports and not agree to go to war until the equipment is issued.
