The country's government has extended the mobilization and martial law until February 2023. Men from 18 to 60 years old who do not have grounds for exemption from conscription are considered liable for military service.

Other income while serving in the Armed Forces: who is allowed
The Ukrainian military may, in some cases, have additional sources of income. However, each situation should be carefully considered.
For example, if a military man was appointed head of a company, then hecannot work somewhere elsein his spare time. However, if the warrior is not a military official, then it will not break the law.
At the same time, for the person hugging a position related to the performance of the functions of the state or local self-government, military service under a contract is another paid activity. In this case, it is entirely prescribed by law.
It should also be noted that the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the Law of Ukraine, conscripts mobilized for a special period, reservists or contract soldiers TRO retain their job and positionat an enterprise, institution, organization, etc., as well as for entrepreneurs for whom they worked at the time of conscription. Such workers will continue to receive salaries at the expense of the State Budget of Ukraine.
As forvolunteer formations, their members can receive income from various sources, because they do not receive salaries as military personnel. All other exceptions and features can be found directly in the clarification of the NAPC.
The Ministry of Defense told who is now being mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- Roman Gorbach, Head of the Personnel Department of the Headquarters of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a briefing, explained who is being drafted into the army now. According to him, first of all, those who already have experience in military service are mobilized.
- Of course, the agenda can also come to citizens without experience. However, then those liable for military service will first be sent to compulsory training.
- Roman Gorbach noted that almost all specialties are now needed to recruit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other defense forces. True, most of all so far they are mobilizing shooters and tankers.
