Mobilization exercises have begun in Belarus/Channel 24 Collage
Despite the beginning of the mobilization exercises of the military of Belarus, there are no signs of their preparation for the offensive. At the same time, the risk of advancing to the borders of Ukraine remains minimal.
This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine dated June 23. According to the agency, the main task of the Belarusian groups is to cover the border of their state.
The situation in the Volyn and Polesye directions

Mobilization exercises are being held with the military commissariats of certain regions, where issues of alerting and recruiting military units are being worked out, the ministry said. to cover the Belarusian-Ukrainian border. At the same time, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were recorded.
Also, the army of Belarus continues to work on strengthening its borders with trenches. Thus, they are preparing to defend themselves against an attack from three countries at once – Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania. So far, it is known about 7 points where the construction of trenches has begun.
Is an attack possible from Belarus
It is known that Belarus has concentrated 7 battalions on the border with Ukraine. In the border areas, additional measures are being taken to equip checkpoints with engineering equipment and additional electronic warfare equipment is being deployed. However, these troops and equipment are still not enough to organize an attack.
The Institute for War Research agrees with these theses. According to them, the army of Belarus is not a combat-ready force. It has insufficient funds, low combat readiness and no real combat experience, unlike the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, Lukashenka needs an army in order to keep his regime. Therefore, in the event of the defeat of the Belarusian units in Ukraine, his own stability would be in jeopardy.
