Ukraine will receive even more HIMARS
It should be noted that another decision was made in the United States the day before. It involves providing our state with 4 more HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 580 Phoenix Ghost drones. In addition, the Ukrainian military will receive:
- 36,000 105mm ammunition,
- command and staff vehicles,
- anti-tank weapons,
- spare parts and other supplies.
All this equipment that the US provides to Ukraine is still not included in the Lend-Lease program. It is being handed over to our state as part of the military aid provided by the United States. Its total amount is 40 billion dollars. These funds must be used by the end of the financial year. That is, until September. Now, they said in the Pentagon, 6 billion dollars remain on this account.
And only after the completion of the program initiated by Joe Biden, will the provision of weapons under Lend-Lease begin. This will be another round that will definitely have a great impact on the course of the war.
