The mobile fire teams that are part of Ukraine's air defense have enough man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) to fend off several more powerful Russian attacks.
The commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, stated this in a commentary to AFP.
— The current situation with man-portable air defense systems for mobile air defense teams is that there is enough ammunition to withstand the next few heavy attacks, — said Naev.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops, as always, need replenishment of these reserves from Western countries.

Sergei Naev points out that Ukraine would obviously like to have more Patriot air defense systems and missiles for these air defense systems.
— Priority is more ammo — he said.
The lieutenant general indicates that Ukrainian air defense has “effectiveness of about 90%“.
— No other air defense system in the world is capable of showing such results, especially in the fight against Russia, — he added.
Earlier, a representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pointed out that there is no pattern in the way Russia launches massive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, so there is no need to link Russian attacks with any specific dates.
