Updated July 2. At night, in a house battered by a missile strike, rescuers found the body of a woman. As of today, two people are known to have died that evening. Emergency workers have already dismantled about 70% of the destroyed structures, said the chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA Sergei Lysak.
As of the evening of June 29 two people from among the missing got in touch. This is a son and mother who live in the damaged high-rise building. They were not at home at the time of the impact.

To establish the identity of the deceased, forensic scientists took a biological sample of the remains and compared them with biological material from relatives of the missing.
Currently, the number of victims has increased to 13 citizens, including a baby and a pregnant woman. By morning, two women were reported missing.

– The enemy launched a missile attack on the Dnieper. A nine-story building was damaged. There’s destruction of several floors,” he noted.
According to Klimenko, unfortunately, there may be more victims.
– Rescuers are clearing away the rubble. People are blocked in apartments. Emergency responders rescued one man from a car — the victim was covered with parts of the damaged house, — he noted.
According to Lysak, people were also trapped in cars around the site of the missile attack, and a fire broke out in one of the entrances of the destroyed house.
President Vladimir Zelensky reported that the rocket hit directly a residential building, resulting in three casualties. According to him, rescuers, doctors and all services are already on site and are providing the necessary assistance.
In Dnepr, a fire in a residential building damaged by a missile attack was extinguished, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
– This is why we constantly remind all partners: only a sufficient quantity and quality of air defense systems, only sufficient determination in the world can stop Russian terror. We need these solutions – we need a reliable air shield for Ukraine, — he emphasized.
For his part, the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council Nikolai Lukashuk noted that 4 floors were destroyed and there were injured people. All services are already running.
