Military surgeons rescued two Ukrainian soldiers. They performed complex operations that have never been performed before in the world.

This was announced by Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar at a briefing, Channel 24 reports. The operations were performed last week.

Military surgeons saved two Ukrainian servicemen

For the first time in Ukraine, doctors performed a modern laparoscopic operation of this type – removal of a kidney after a gunshot wound with destruction of the organ . Everything happened last week in one of the mobile hospitals in the front-line cities of Ukraine.

This hospital has already done two such operations. The results are excellent: only a week has passed, and the wounded soldiers can already move around the ward on their own.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and the professionalism of our military surgeons, the wounded already walk around the ward on their own. The military surgeons of Ukraine keep the line and introduce modern minimally invasive operations to rescue the seriously wounded, – said the Deputy Minister of Defense.

Anna Malyar added that such operations for a combat injury to the kidney have never been performed in the world.< /strong>Now Ukrainian military medicine is receiving serious challenges, but it is successfully coping with them. Over time, specialists will be able to share their experience with military doctors from all over the world.

We add that doctors from all over the world continue to arrive in Ukraine to help colleagues in such difficult times. According to the latest data published by the Verkhovna Rada, back in April, about 2,000 doctors from different countries applied to come to Ukraine.

At the same time, the situation with medical support in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass is simply catastrophic. The invaders first take the Russian military for treatment, so that they have a better chance of surviving.

They have a whole gradation of whom to treat first. The most unpleasant thing is that the forcibly mobilized residents are in last place. After serious clashes, it is Russians, not Ukrainians, who are being taken to the nearest hospitals. The burden on doctors is very serious – hospitals are “teeming” with wounded soldiers.
