Metropolitan Onufriy stripped of Ukrainian citizenship: Zelensky signed decree

According to the SBU, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree terminating the Ukrainian citizenship of Orest Berezovsky, Metropolitan Onufriy of the UOC (Moscow Patriarchate).

Deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship of Metropolitan Onufriy

The SBU established that Orest Berezovsky voluntarily received Russian citizenship in 2002 and did not inform the Ukrainian authorities about it. At the same time, Onufriy continued to enjoy the status of a citizen of our state.
