The UK has introduced legislation to impose further sanctions on goods, technologies and sources of funding that Russia could use to wage war against Ukraine.
According to the British government, the sanctions package will include a ban on the export of goods that can be used for military or industrial purposes, advanced equipment, spare parts and electronics found on the battlefield in Ukraine.
Sanctions are aimed at goods that generate income to finance the Russian war against Ukraine. We are talking about a ban on the import of certain Russian metals and diamonds from the Russian Federation.
