Former German chancellor Angela Merkel recently stated that a lasting peace in Europe cannot be achieved without Russia's participation. This is an outrageous statement, which once again demonstrates the pro-Russian ex-chancellor.
This Channel 24 was told by political scientist Nikolai Davidyuk. According to him, Merkel's statements “smell very strongly of Russian gas” . They are absolutely irresponsible and outrageous, considering how the Russians have crippled the fate of millions of Ukrainians.
As Davidyuk notes, Merkel was not a chancellor throughout her term, but simply “a governor who played along with Russia in Germany.”
These statements are a vivid confirmation of this. Merkel is not an objective politician, and she should be treated like a retired political loser… The fact that she came to Ukraine and lied about supporting us – all this follows. Glad it happened. But it’s a pity that it happened rather late, – said Davidyuk.

Davidyuk is convinced that these statements do not affect the Germans in any way there is a new chancellor. Merkel takes such provocative steps to satisfy her friends in the Kremlin and work off all the “bonuses” she received from them.

He stressed that back in 2008, Angela Merkel betrayed Ukrainewhen it refused to join NATO. If then Kyiv had ended up in the Alliance, then there would not have been millions of victims and victims both in Ukraine and in Georgia. Therefore, Merkel is a political veteran who has done nothing for the stability of Europe, and now everyone is reaping the fruits of her policy.
