In the Donetsk region, counterintelligence of the Security Service exposed another informant of the Russian special services.

According to the department's press service, the attacker collected intelligence information about the deployment and movement of Ukrainian troops involved in counter-offensive operations in the Bakhmut area.

“First of all, she tried to establish the coordinates of the firing positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ cannon and rocket artillery, including the HIMARS artillery systems. She was also interested in the flight directions of military aircraft and the routes of movement of heavy armored vehicles of Ukrainian defenders, the message says.

According to the investigation, the traitor carried out intelligence activities at her place of residence, in the Konstantinovka region.

She went out into the area and observed the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also asked her friends for the necessary information under the guise of everyday conversations.

The woman poured the information she received into four Telegram channels that were created by Russian intelligence services to track the locations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

SBU officers documented the criminal actions of the defendant and detained her at her place of residence. Her mobile phone, which she used to transmit intelligence to the aggressor, was confiscated.

As the investigation established, the woman subscribed to enemy Internet resources at the beginning of this year and subsequently began publishing her messages there with approximate geolocations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the region.

Based on the collected evidence, Security Service investigators informed the detainee of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed under martial law).
