On the eve of the next meeting of the contact group in the Ramstein format, the deputies announced the need to provide Ukraine with a disruption.

– In particular, Ukraine needs the Taurus cruise missile systems, which are in service with the Bundeswehr, in order to purposefully weaken Russian military logistics, the letter says.

The deputies noted that the Ukrainian side assured them in personal conversations that these missiles will be used exclusively on the territory of Ukraine and they see no reason to doubt this promise.

The authors of the letter are confident that Germany should continue to supply air defense systems and ammunition , hospital equipment and armored vehicles, especially battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.

Deputies noted that it is especially important to ensure the stability of the Ukrainian troops.

– This requires, in particular, spare parts for already supplied systems and support in the repair of these systems, the letter says.

The day before, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba said that the issue of providing Ukraine with long-range Taurus cruise missiles is moving forward.

He noted that the decision is now up to Berlin. Kyiv, for its part, is ready to facilitate as much as possible and fulfill requests that the German side may voice.
