Russian troops are suffering heavy losses in the Svatov direction in the Luhansk region. The invaders are losing a lot of personnel, including commanders.
The head of the Lugansk OVA, Serhiy Gaidai, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel, said that the commander of the occupying regiment had recently disappeared near Svatov, Channel 24 writes . “Maybe somewhere in the forests later, or maybe not,” he added.
Military operations are active in three directions in the Luhansk region
Gaidai said that in the Lugansk region, active hostilities continue in three directions: Svatovo, Kremennaya and Belogorivka. He noted that in each of the directions, Russia uses different tactics, which depend on the warring units and the terrain.
Kremennaya is a wooded area, infantry and heavy equipment are used more there. In the Svatovsky direction, the enemy also uses snipers. With technology, they are trying, but so far they have daily losses. Belogorivka is now being shelled with heavy calibers very strongly out of anger and impotence, – said the head of the Luhansk Regional Military District.
According to him, near Svatov, Russia is losing the largest amount of equipment in the Lugansk region. In the area of the Kremennaya Defense Forces of Ukraine, the number of enemy infantry is being reduced.
Gaidai said that this week the occupiers tried to attack in waves in the Kremensk direction and threw three companies into the assault.
They tried to push through our defenses. In the end, they retreated, but only two companies, one (about 70 people) remained there forever,” Gaidai said.
The invaders launched a full-scale attack on the Luhansk region
