During the artillery shelling of invaders in the Donbas on March 23, the former platoon commander and fighter of the Kharkiv-1 battalion, 46-year-old Maxim Koksharov, died. He is survived by his wife and son.
The loss of a Ukrainian soldier was reported by his comrade Ivan Didenko on the social network.
He confessed that he knew Maxim Koksharov since 2014.
During the so-called “Russian spring”, eight years ago in Kharkov, he signed up with us, in the ranks self defense. He was immediately put in charge of the Kholodnogorsk district,” Didenko recalls.
According to him, Koksharov was one of the first volunteers in the ranks of the Kharkiv-1 battalion, and in 2015 he was wounded in the time of the terrorist attack near the Sports Palace.
Later he worked as the chief of police in Shchastia. “And defended Ukraine to the last already in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the 54th brigade,” writes Didenko.
