In the final of the 15th season of the MasterChef show, three of the strongest participants competed. Only one of them received the main title – the winner! Ekaterina, Denis and Nancy went through a difficult path – from amateurs to owners of jackets and professional chefs. What concepts did they present in the final competition? How did they impress the judges? And who ultimately became the best?
How was the 18th edition of MasterChef 15
Ekaterina chose the concept of Tastes of Hops, where the main ingredient was beer – in each of the dishes, from the appetizer to the dessert. Her final menu: an appetizer of beetroot, smoked sour cream, white horseradish and feta cheese espuma; the main course – steak stewed in beer; and for dessert – honey cake with pear and prunes, also prepared with the addition of beer.
Denis presented his personal concept — “Three Cities of Power.” Each dish symbolized a city important to him. Appetizer — Dnepr: marinated pike perch, crayfish meat, and espuma. Main course — Lviv, the city where he last saw his beloved, separated from him by war. The main ingredient there was veal cheeks. Dessert — Kharkiv: an interpreted waffle cake with vanilla waffles, praline, and gel with compote.

Nancy presented a concept in which food is a force that can unite the world. Her approach is a combination of tradition and the future. The starter is a mystery dish: lime shrimpcakes, coconut milk foam, tomatoes compressed in tom yum paste with chili. The main course is octopus with oyster sauce. Dessert is beetroot with currant kueli, juniper and sake-soaked sponge cake.

After the presentation of the dishes by the participants, the culmination of the season came. The judges opened the treasured envelope with the name of the winner. After long discussions, they made their choice.
