Alexander Kotinin was a master of sports in pankration, a multiple winner of the championships of the Kiev region and Bila Tserkva in pankration, hand-to-hand combat and jiu jitsu.
He won the All-Ukrainian pankration tournament among youth in 2013 and became a champion and silver medalist Ukrainian Pankration Championship among youths in 2014.
At the front, the defender was the senior gunner of a grenade launcher squad of a fire support platoon.
Note that a petition has already been created to award him the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the order Gold Star posthumously.
