Shelling of Kyiv and attack on the Okhmatdet hospital

On the morning and afternoon of July 8, the Russians attacked Kyiv twice with missiles. As a result of the Russian attack, 25 people are known to have died, as well as more than 70 injured.

The Okhmatdyt children's hospital was damaged during a missile attack on Kyiv. Some medical buildings were destroyed. The head of the Ministry of Health, Viktor Lyashko, said that intensive care units, operating rooms and oncology departments were damaged. Orban visited China as part of his “peace” tour

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, after visiting Kyiv and then Moscow, went to Beijing. There he met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and called China a “key state” in promoting peace in Ukraine.

Orban flew to the Chinese capital, declaring this visit as “peace mission 3.0”. The head of the Hungarian government called Beijing an “important stabilizing force” in the world at a press conference.

It was noted that Xi highly appreciated Orban’s efforts and called on world powers to support Russia and Ukraine in restoring direct dialogue.
