Massive attack on Ukraine: France announced an increase in military assistance

< p _ngcontent-sc137="" class="news-annotation">Russia attacked Ukraine with rockets on October 10th. French President Macron urgently telephoned Vladimir Zelensky.

This was reported at the Elysee Palace. Macron expressed extreme concern that the strikes had resulted in civilian casualties.

“He (Macron – Channel 24) reaffirmed his full support for President Zelensky, as well as France's commitment to increase its support for Ukraine in response to the needs expressed by Kyiv. In particular, for military equipment,” the office noted.

The Elysee Palace added that Macron continues to maintain close contact with Zelensky, European partners and G7.

US response to missile attacks

Russia attacked 15 regions of Ukraine. They hit civilians and critical infrastructure. Therefore, in a number of cities and villages there are problems with electricity, warm water and mobile communications. According to law enforcers, the invaders killed 10 Ukrainian civilians on October 10 and wounded about 90.

Zelensky met with Ambassador Bridget Brink and Deputy Head of the US Diplomatic Mission Christopher Smith in Kyiv.

“The United States condemns Russian strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure and intends to hold Russia accountable for war crimes and atrocities committed in our country. Grateful for your support!” Zelensky said.
