Men who have reached the age of 60 may not do military service. However, if we are talking about senior officers, then they are released from service after 64 years.

In addition, people under the age of 18 are not mobilized. According to the Law of Ukraine “On military duty and military service”, the maximum age for the stay of people mobilized in the Armed Forces of Ukraine until reaching the age limit for being in the reserve or reserve. However, professional fighters who have been recognized by the medical board as fit for service extension can be left at their request for no more than 5 years.
