Naev visited marines in Zaporozhye/Channel 24 Collage
Commander of the Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Sergei Naev, visited the Marine Corps units defending positions in the Zaporozhye direction. It is noted that the military arrived to greet the personnel on their professional holiday.

To congratulate of our marines, Lieutenant-General Sergei Naev personally came to the positions of the defenders, got acquainted with the organization and conditions of their life, discussed problematic issues and the current state of affairs in Zaporozhye.
Congratulating the Marines on the holiday, the commander gave them night vision devices .
“It is very important that every night those who are on duty at observation posts feel as safe as possible I am sure that this equipment will not only add to your ability to conduct combat at night, but will also bring a significant advantage and benefit,” he stressed. The commander added that in the performance of combat missions, each Marine demonstrates high morale, professional excellence, dedication and responsibility.

According to the command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the best servicemen were awarded departmental awards and valuable gifts.
DayMarine Corps is a professional holiday of the Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is celebrated annually on May 23. The current date of the celebration has been set since 2018 by Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 145/2018.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, also joined the congratulations. He published a powerful video about the work of our marines, calling them the pride of Ukraine. The Security Service and colleagues from the Ground Forces also expressed their respect for the Marine Corps.
