Evacuation of children/Collage 24 channels
Thanks to the social mission of the OCU, more than 250 children were evacuated from hot spots. Most of them are seriously ill.
Roman Kholodov, head of the social service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, spoke about this on the air of Channel 24.
He remembered that already on February 24 , from the beginning of a full-scale invasion, they immediately began to take out the children under their care from Kyiv.
Recently, we managed to evacuate more than 250 seriously ill children, Kholodov said.
That is, these are those who could not be taken out on the train, they needed constant medical supervision. Some needed oxygen.
“We either handed them over to other doctors, or delivered them to hospitals in other cities or villages, and hid them from this war,” he added.
