What versions are the investigation considering
The investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy in Brovary is under the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine. On the afternoon of January 18, the department published 3 main versions, with which the investigation is now working. We are talking about:
- violation of flight rules;
- helicopter malfunction;
- intentional actions to destroy the helicopter.

Terrorist attack: could the tragedy become a targeted assassination of the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The very first version that began to spread over the network was a terrorist attack or sabotage, which led to a disaster. That is, according to this version, someone purposefully wanted to remove Minister Denis Monastyrsky and the leadership of the department.
This version is listed by the SBU as “deliberate actions to destroy the helicopter.” Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin said that now the investigation is considering all versions of the tragedy, including sabotage. However, while the investigation continues, there should be no speculative theories about the causes of the plane crash.
We are currently considering all possible leads, including sabotage. But until experts draw their conclusions, there should be no speculative theories. The truth must be established. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by SBU investigators. The matter is under my personal control,” Kostin emphasized.
The head of the National Police and the interim head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko, also noted that the investigation is considering all versions. However, now they are only theories – conclusions can only be drawn when there is certain evidence or evidence.
A local resident of Brovary told reporters in the comments that the helicopter caught fire even before the fall and circled before falling to the ground . This evidence also leads many to believe that the tragedy was not accidental.
The technical condition of the helicopter: could the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fly on a malfunctioning vessel
Air Force Speaker Yuri Ignat notes that there are several reasons for the crash. In particular, investigators and experts need to study the radio traffic and the technical condition of the crashed helicopter. That is, the version that the malfunction of the helicopter became the cause of the tragedy is not ruled out.
It is worth noting that in the afternoon, the media, citing their own sources in the National Police, reported that the version of the helicopter malfunction did not exactly appear on the list, since the helicopter was news and the preparations for the flight were thorough, considering who was on board.

But the versions of the tragedy must be established by the SBU, so the National Police does not put forward their own versions.
At the same time, telegram channels with a dubious reputation immediately began to spread information that the malfunction of the helicopter was supposedly the only cause of the tragedy.
Also, the network actively discussed the possibility that thick fog could have caused the tragedy. However, the primary sources of this information have deleted their messages.
What is Russia's fault in this catastrophe
The exact root cause of the tragedy in Brovary was announced in the Main Intelligence Directorate – Russian aggression against Ukraine. It is because of the full-scale war that Russia is waging against us that Denis Monastyrsky and the ministry team went on a business trip to hot spots in the Kharkiv region.
The reasons will be clarified. But it is known for sure that one of them is Russian aggression against Ukraine. There is, perhaps, nothing worse than the death of children, and there are hardly any words that can help the grief of parents and alleviate their pain, the intelligence noted.
