Strikes on US bases: Trump's reaction and peace statements
US President Donald Trump has responded to Iran's missile attack on US bases in Qatar and Iraq. He called it a very weak response.
“Iran officially responded to our destruction of their nuclear facilities with a very weak response, which is what we expected, and which was very effectively repelled,” Trump says.
As the US President noted, Iran fired 14 missiles, 13 of which were shot down, and another was supposedly heading in a safe direction.
He also thanked Iran for warning about the attack, which saved the lives and health of their people.
He also announced a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran. Trump says it's the end of the war, though the shootings are still ongoing, writes Axios.
Iran says it has not received any offers, reports CNN noted that will not engage in military action unless they attack Israel.
