The death of Oleg Yurchenko was announced by the ex-head of the Institute of National Memory Vladimir Vyatrovich. Of the five children that Yurchenko had, four were minors.

Vyatrovich said that Yurchenko was active in public life, a member of the Union of Ukrainian Youth in Ukraine and a Maidan activist.

Russia is concentrating forces under Bakhmut
