Macron went to Germany with a specific purpose: what he wanted from Scholz

by alex

A meeting of the leaders of Germany, France and Poland took place in Berlin on March 15, during which French President Emmanuel Macron once again demonstrated his political leadership. Now he is generally emerging as the sole leader of Europe.

This is the opinion 24 Channel said political scientist Nikolai Davidyuk. However, this meeting lacked a representative from the Ukrainian side.

The purpose of the meeting between Macron and Scholz

President Macron went to Berlin with a specific task – to knock out German resources for the war in Ukraine. Recently, the head of France has been showing political leadership with his position.

After all, if Donald Trump returns to the post of US President will leave NATO, then France will be the only nuclear power within the European Union with its own nuclear power, and not as part of the transfer of the Alliance, the political scientist said.

Now Macron is showing himself as the one who will lead the democratic world to victory against Russia. The global map is shaping up in his favor and this could be interesting and useful for him.

According to him, Macron is now behaving like the British at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. He says who and what to give, puts pressure, sets inconvenient traps.

Why wasn’t Ukraine invited

Ukraine was missing at the meeting of the three European leaders in Berlin. During World War II, France and Poland were not as brave as they say today, so Germany may not accept such a dialogue.

We have already seen reports in the German press that they (the Germans – Channel 24) do not perceive Macron’s hyper-energetic position. They call him a young monarch and this puzzles the Germans themselves. There are nuances here, so the presence of Ukraine would be desirable,” Davidyuk noted.

According to the political scientist, one of the reasons why Ukraine was not invited to the event was internal turmoil within the Polish government . In addition, there could be certain technical problems.

“There are questions of leadership and who is actually responsible for Poland, leading it into a bright future. Moreover, Germany there was a lot to talk about with France. Two neighboring countries with an extremely complex history, which today are jointly responsible for Europe,” added the political scientist.

Macron's statements on the war in Ukraine

  • Macron believes that the future of the entire European continent will depend on the course of events on the battlefield in Ukraine. According to him, if Russia wins, trust in Europe will be reduced to zero.
  • The French President also responded to Vladimir Putin’s latest threats regarding a nuclear strike. Macron recalled that his country also has a nuclear arsenal, so it is inappropriate to threaten France.
  • The French leader also noted that he is “ready to do everything possible to prevent Russia from winning.”
