French President Emmanuel Macron has announced a project to mobilize more young volunteers to support the Armed Forces if the need arises.

President Macron said he is forcing France to take this step “accumulation of threats”.

He also announced the need to review French defense priorities and called for a “strategic awakening of Europe”.
– Let's not deceive ourselves. The conflict in Ukraine will not end tomorrow or the day after, Macron said.
The French President noted that the challenge now is to give Ukraine the opportunity to stand firm and enter future negotiations from a position of strength.
–And tomorrow, when the fighting stops, the challenge will be to provide Ukraine with guarantees that the war will not return to its territory, as well as guarantees of our own security, the French President summed up.
Recall that Emmanuel Macron called on the EU countries to “wake up” and spend more on defense to reduce dependence on the United States for security.
