The leaders of four European countries arrived in Ukraine today. In this way, they show support for our state.
In the morning it became known that Emmanuel Macron, Olaf Scholz and Mario Draghi arrived in Ukraine. Now Romanian President Klaus Iohannis will join them.
Russian aggression must stop
The head of the neighboring country has also already arrived in Kyiv. He arrived on the Ukrzaliznytsia train, like his colleagues from other states. In the capital, on the platform, he was met by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanyshina.

Today in Kyiv with my European colleagues to show our strong support and full solidarity with President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian people. This illegal Russian aggression must be stopped! – stressed Iohannis.
Earlier media reported that Klaus was offered to join the trio by French President Emmanuel Macron.
They argued that during the preparation for the trip it became clear that this was a good idea take an Eastern European with you as a sign of European unity.

The corresponding photo of the three leaders appeared from the Ukrzaliznytsia carriage. There were reports of their visit the day before, but no one officially and accurately confirmed them. Perhaps it was for security purposes. Macron visited the countries of Eastern Europe the day before. He also visited Moldova to show his support.
- Then there were cadres of European politicians already in Kyiv at the station. It is known that they are to meet with President Zelensky. The French leader noted that such a visit is symbolic for the Ukrainian people. The leaders of European states also plan to visit the settlements of the Kyiv region, which had previously been under Russian occupation, in order to see with their own eyes the crimes of Putin's army.
- At the same time, in Ukraine, I think what “gifts” these politicians could bring us . It was assumed that French President Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in Kyiv, could theoretically provide Ukraine with a lot of heavy weapons. In this case, it will in no way damage the defense capability of his country. For example, France is decommissioning tanks and armored personnel carriers that are obsolete at the moment, but Ukraine would need them.
