Lviv was attacked by missiles from the Caspian Sea/Channel 24 Collage
On the evening of May 3, the Russians launched a massive rocket attack on the territory of Ukraine. Rockets also hit Lviv.
The latest news about the situation was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky during a briefing. He told where the enemy missiles were coming from, Channel 24 reports.
The missile attack on Lvov was from the Caspian Sea. It was made from strategic bombers. If we take the Lviv region, then the air defense recorded 6 missiles, 2 of which were shot down, – says the chairman of the OVA.
According to him, three missiles hit the electrical substations of the railway.
The first strike on Transcarpathia
As you know, for the first time a rocket hit the territory of the Transcarpathian region. A substation on the railway of one of the villages was also damaged.
According to Kozitsky, one of the six missiles flew over the Lviv region and then hit the Transcarpathian region.
“It was a strike against the chains deliveries, including humanitarian aid, from west to east. Two light victims are now known. The substations were hit critically, there is a delay in train traffic,” Maxim Kozitsky said.
What is known about the shelling of Lviv on May 3
- The Russians launched a missile strike in the evening. Maxim Kozitsky informed that due to the attack of the Russians, 85,000 houses from 12 settlements were left without electricity. There are victims whose lives are not in danger. They were thrown against the wall during the shelling of the shock wave.
- The consequences of the attack are being eliminated to this day. The mayor of Lvov, Andriy Sadovy, said that the shock wave pretty much hooked on a large garage cooperative in one of the districts of the city. Windows and doors were blown out. All the stained-glass windows flew out in the church, and the locks were pulled out in the garages and the door opened.
- In total, during the massive shelling of Ukraine on May 3, Russian infidels launched 18 rockets. The infrastructure was damaged in Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Lvov, Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Odessa, Transcarpathian regions. According to the mayor of Lviv, the city was badly damaged: interruptions in electricity, water, Internet and mobile communications.
