“Lukashenko's power is now built only on law enforcement agencies, and even they do not support the conflict with Ukraine. They have already sabotaged the orders given by the self-proclaimed president,” says the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
However, according to Smirnov, Lukashenko's authorities are a party to this conflict , because it is from the territory of Belarus that missiles and air strikes on Ukrainian cities are launched, the Russians also came from there.
Why Lukashenko's entry into the war would be a plus
According to the expert, it would be a plus for Ukraine if Lukashenko entered the war.
In particular, this would lead to certain riots within the country, he (Lukashenko – Channel 24) would lose power as expected, and this would calm us down from the thought that we need to keep one more perimeter of the border. A change of power in Belarus would be very “beneficial” to Ukraine, – Smirnov explained.
The adviser to the Interior Minister assured. that Lukashenka will continue to declare a threat to enter the war, to conduct training at the borders, but this will not end with anything, because he does not have the resources and opportunities for this.
According to Smirnov, Belarusian military are afraid to go to war with Ukrainebecause they saw how the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroy the “second army of the world.” In addition, Belarusians have never been involved in conflicts in their existence, so they have no experience.

Why the “offensive” from Belarus is being discussed again
