Recently, Belarus published the results of a survey on a possible military campaign in Ukraine. It turned out that an extremely small number of people support such actions. Ivan Stupak, an ex-employee of the SBU, an expert at the Institute for the Future, spoke about this on Channel 24.
In his opinion, Lukashenka considers these moods, no matter who he considers himself to be. After all, he recently stated that “Presidents are not made, presidents are born.” That is, the Belarusian dictator appropriates a certain divine part to himself: “I was born specifically to rule.” to Ukraine. He tries to maneuver as much as possible, balance like a tightrope walker, both to please the way and not to get into this mess, Ivan Stupak explained.
“He sees how this happens. Therefore, so that he does not say, so as not said: “Ukraine in minced vinaigrette”, but he understands that minced vinaigrette will be from his military,” Stupak added.
The ex-SBU officer recalled that recently there was an interview with Lukashenka, in which his wording was as follows: “but there was no need to insult the way.”
“I understand for myself that Putin's all this offensive is more emotional story. Nothing was prepared for the war, only a personal insult to one particular little man who put the whole world in the letter “Zu”. And now we are raking it all out,” the expert added.
