Lukashenko believes that Poland wants to seize Western Ukraine/Collage of Channel 24
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko continues to serve as the Kremlin's mouthpiece. However, it seems that the creativity of Russian propaganda is exhausted, because the Belarusian dictator has again expressed concern about “the plans of NATO and Poland to take away Western Ukraine.”
He stated this today at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Considering the politics of the leaders present, it is not difficult to guess that the discussions were mainly conspiracy theories, manipulative stuffing, attracted economic and military victories.
There was a place for criticism of the West
It's time for Lukashenka to leave the presidency, if only because of his obsessive fantasies. Thus, the self-proclaimed leader noted that the issue of security is especially important, since recently he has been imagining NATO troops on the western borders.
According to him, NATO and Poland are striving to take Western Ukraine.
We, and you should be concerned, that politicians are already taking steps to dismember Ukraine. We are concerned that they are ready – Poles, NATO members – to take Western Ukraine, as it was before 1939, – Lukashenko said in a conversation with Putin.
He added that this is the West's strategy towards Belarus.
“Therefore, we keep our ears sharp. And, as I said, the Ukrainians will have to ask us not to allow this western part and other parts to be separated from Ukraine,” Lukashenka continued.
In addition, the Belarusian dictator recalled that yesterday Zelensky met with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Kyiv. He stated that the behavior of the Polish leader was incomprehensible and added that Duda does not decide anything in his country.
Lukashenka's other statements
- Marenia Lukashenko has gone quite far on defending the country from imaginary enemies. He recently announced the production of Belarusian Iskanders. Production should start working before the end of the year. As noted in the press service of the politician, he has already asked Putin for help.
- In early May, in an interview with the Associated Press news agency, Lukashenka said that “certain Polish figures already see Western Ukraine in their composition,” however, Russia and Belarus will do everything possible to prevent this from happening. At the same time, according to the self-proclaimed president, Ukraine will not be able to fight “the so-called current ally.” In addition, he repeatedly repeated the manipulative thesis about “fraternal peoples” and called on the Ukrainian authorities to return “to their own”.
- By the way, Lukashenka did not forget about the third “legitimate” of Putin's triad – the fled president Viktor Yanukovych. The leader of Belarus is still sure that in 2014 the West helped overthrow the “legitimate power” of Ukraine. By the way, it is Europe and the United States, according to him, that are guilty of all the sins of the world. He considers the EU and NATO “followers of Nazism who want to take revenge” and allegedly “use Ukraine” for this.
