He issued threats to the Belarusian state media about the alleged shelling of Kyiv, which could carry out his regime. But he also said that he was not going to fight, channel 24 reports.
Will the Belarusian army invade Ukraine
Belarus has recently been near our borders very actively launched supposedly military exercises. In Ukraine, on this occasion, they have already begun to prepare for a likely invasion, because such “exercises” were held before February 24. Lukashenka was asked if his army would cross the border.

Like, then Belarus will hit Kyiv and will not even enter Ukraine. He immediately admitted that in order to strike, you need to have more than to carry it out. But he immediately assured that Belarus seemed to have such means.
Lukashenko mentioned Russia as well
The self-proclaimed Belarusian president does not forget about his sponsor and henchman Vladimir Putin. Like, Ukrainians should not be beaten in Russia either. For some reason, he thinks that we are asking for weapons in order to strike at Russia or Belarus, although in reality we only want to defend ourselves and drive the enemies out of our native land.

“Russia will already use a new level of weapons. And they will use them in Kyiv for those who make these decisions. Therefore, they are still a little afraid. But it does not depend on them – it all depends on how much the Americans will push them to this war,” Lukashenka said.
Risks of an offensive from Belarus
- The Belarusian military continues to stand near the border with Ukraine. They conducted command and staff training, which lasted from 14 to 16 June. In the Volyn and Polesye directions, Belarusian units continue to carry out tasks to cover the border. At the same time, ammunition and equipment are brought there. This poses a threat to Ukraine.
- The Ukrainian authorities and the military are preparing for all possible risks and offensives from this side. Therefore, President Vladimir Zelensky held a meeting on June 15 about the possible threat of a new invasion from Belarus. According to NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, he instructed to check readiness in four areas.
- Various military experts and analysts assess the likelihood of this offensive and its threat. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also gave an assessment and forecasts. Viktor Andrusiv, adviser to the Interior Minister, said that for Lukashenka, the decision to invade Ukraine could be a disaster. In his opinion, the dictator is playing intimidation in order to tie down our troops at Putin's request.
