Ukrainian intelligence spoke about the results of the work of the people's satellite ICEYE, which was acquired thanks to donations from Ukrainians.
Results of the people's satellite for almost two years: details
Ukrainian intelligence officers have been using the satellite to detect Russian targets for almost two years.
During this time, Ukrainian specialists took a total of 4,173 photographs of Russian objects, among which:
Now watching
- 370 – airfields;
- 238 – air defense and electronic reconnaissance positions;
- 153 – oil depots and fuel depots;
- 147 – warehouses for missile, aviation weapons and ammunition;
- 17 – naval bases.
Also, thanks to the satellite, Ukrainian intelligence officers monitor permanent deployment points of the Russian Armed Forces, training grounds, military camps, and mobilization deployment centers.
Thus, this allows us to track the dynamics of Russia's movements with personnel, to reveal its military intentions in order to thwart them.
In addition, the people's satellite allows you to monitor the objects of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country and its logistics network, which includes the illegally built bridge between Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As noted in intelligence, the main advantage of the ICEYE satellite is its ability to clearly see clusters of even carefully camouflaged Russian mechanized units with their equipment.
– About 38% of the entire array of data obtained thanks to ICEYE was used to directly prepare the fire defeat of the enemy – this is billions of dollars in losses for Russia, and the price of her aggression will grow, – said the Main Intelligence Directorate of the MOU.
They also noted that the people’s satellite is capable of accurately identifying the type and type of detected combat aircraft, ships, air defense systems, as well as recording the level of damage to the occupiers’ affected facilities.
We would like to remind you that the satellite was purchased thanks to the initiative of the charitable foundation of Sergei Pritula and blogger Igor Lachenkov and donations from Ukrainians for the national bayraktar, the funds from which were used to purchase the satellite.
